Henri wasn't pleased about the limited ingress/egress options, but he was less convinced he and Mogall could effectively sneak into the back door and through the kitchen area unnoticed.

"OK - give us a few minutes to get in and get settled - but not too long. You're sure to draw plenty of attention on your own!" With that, Henri adopts a slouched posture seen in so many of the cities less fortunate inhabitants. He conceals the short bow under his oversized winter cloak while keeping it easy to withdraw when needed. His shuffling steps and downward gaze are designed to make him blend in perfectly with the crowd as he enters the run-down place.

The two bodies dumped outside as the party approaches are both alive but unconscious, their faces pulpy and bloody, with splits lips, massive bruises, and swollen eyelids. Both exude a strong aroma of beer and sweat.

Inside is an atmosphere of equal parts insanity and rage. Quite a few of the patrons can be seen trading punches.

Scarlet, DC 15 Perception:

There's a man seated opposite from the entrance, with only the profile of his left side visible to Scarlet. His looks match the descriptions of Hjort's.

Zlata likes the idea of a ruse, though she grumbles a bit at having her wrists bound, even with loose rope for show. She keeps her scythe slung across her back, and has her companions bind her wrists in front of her where they can be clearly seen.

Once everyone's in position:

As her "captors" shove her through the doorway, she puts on a show of struggling and hurls a few inventive insults on their supposed heritage in their - and any of the bar patrons' that pay attention - direction.

Henri does his best to blend in - or better yet - to be more like the furniture and walls. There but not worth even noticing. He will find a space with visibility and maneuvering room for either an arrow or a dagger. Like Scarlet, Henri had no qualms about using his skills to his best advantage, and felt equally at home in this skank-bar as in a ducal manor. Before he got too sidetracked in this comparison and the many similarities, he re-focused on the ruse unfolding.

Henri had been in bar fights before. He had even started several to cover his actions. When the chairs started flying, his first thought was to escape and let the locals beat themselves senseless...but Sothy was too far in. Well, the least he could do was drop the brute in front of him and clear a path to the front door. Henri also knew the rules of barfights, and so he kept his dagger concealed and dealt non-lethal damage to the man he was flanking with Zlata.

Seeing Sothy hit one thug really hard, Mogall cast an illusion spell creating what appears to be a 30 foot pit with spikes around the 5ft square where both the Orange and brown drunk are standing. The Wayang agrees, "Then we best be going." as he starts to move for the rear of the tavern assuming that is where the armory is.

silent illusion DC15 will save to disbelieve if they interact with it.
