Ragnir Brightaxe |

Anga Runedaughter |

GM Mazra |
Katrezra will pause then speak to Kaos, "The White Sword has plagued my dreams. The Sanctuary was marked. They must mean something! Unfortunately, the dreams are scrambled and unclear. I don't know anything more.
In response to Anga question, "Like I said, I feared for my friend. He wanted to get more information before bringing the matter to the council. He didn't want to raise concerns until he was sure there were concerns. Clearly there are concerns."
Good knowledge roll! Flood trolls are not actual trolls in the truest sense of the word. Although flood trolls—like their scrag parents are distantly related to mountain trolls, the species are distinct. Most humanoid societies, however, are content to simply refer to both scrags and trolls using the umbrella term “troll,” linking the species because of overlapping myths and their similar regenerative abilities. Scrag mothers birth anywhere from two to six younglings in a single brood and every brood has a small chance of including what the scrags call an aruktaii—“half-scrag” in the Giant tongue—known to many civilized peoples as a flood troll. Scrags with larger broods have a higher chance of producing flood trolls among their young. These runts are invariably smaller and more frail than true scrag younglings and their growth rate is significantly slower than their non-mutated kin. This makes them undesirable to their scrag mothers and more likely to be eaten by their stronger siblings. Those flood trolls who aren’t simply abandoned to the wilds by their mothers are raised as lesser beings and live in the shadows of their scrag brothers and sisters. Most flood trolls flee their aggressive broodmates before coming of age, preferring to fend for themselves in the terrors of the wilderness rather than deal with their cruel, savage family members.
The mutation that results in a flood troll also affects the creature’s reproductive organs, rendering it sterile. Because they cannot reproduce, flood trolls rarely seek out mates or even partners to aid in the hunt. Instead, they lead solitary existences steeped in ire for all living things; they are born amid hatred and rejection, and expect to die the same way.
Anga Runedaughter |
Anga's eyes glaze for a moment, as if she is reading from a book. Her voice takes on a more formal mode of Dwarvish as she speaks. Formal Dwarvish, more correctly called High Dwarvish is the language or scholars and literary works, such as histories, and of the courts of the dwarven kings.
She shakes her head, and says in common, ya, flood trolls are a wee menace, but no as bad as a proper troll.
GM Mazra |

Haskyll Stonereaver |
Kurst, when women are in our rooms univited with bared blades, I think it falls under self defence what happened here.
However, survivors you are free to take away, as they are right here.
Shaking his head at the oversized human. Aye Torag and I can be doing something about that.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Kurst Grath |
Kurst will look at Cham, "Let's first get to the bottom of this before you start kicking people out of their rooms."
He turns toward Haskyll, "If there were only one, I would think you may have had a disgruntled lover, but these women are clearly something different."
Longsword in hand, Kurst will then turn his attention to the Human Females similarly dressed. The exotic blades, one by one, begins to vanish, leaving only a hollow hilt. "If you answer our questions you will live. If you don't before the end of this week, you will swing on the gallows." He will look at the two conscious women. "We will start easy. I have never seen any of you before. So, where are you from?"
Ragnir Brightaxe |
"B$%*@*~s to that. Ye were targettin' our group, why is tha? Tryin' ta cover up yer murder?"
Anga Runedaughter |
Anga rests her hand on ragnir's arm. calmly, ragnir. she looks at the captives. mah friend here is upset, as ye can see. We dwarves dislike sneak killers. Reminds us of goblins. And we tend to deal one way with goblins. If you don't answer quickly and well, mah friend will do nasty things to ye. And...I'll let him. So let's start with the basics. Who is this mordea you speak of?
