OOC: Players. Thanks for your patience. FYI I live in northern California. I try to read and post at 6am and 6-ish pm. Tonight I took my family out for dinner - which made the first shot out a little late. SO, here we go.
I will post the first thread in the Gameplay tab. I will then read these previous 26 posts and get caught up. If there are questions, I will get to them after posting the initial thread.
Thanks again, and May the Force be with you!

Trying to figure out what kind of bonus the concealed holster gives for hiding a lightsaber. The entry just says it allows you to conceal the weapon, and the stealth skill just gives typical bonuses for smaller weapons, though the lightsaber is medium.
Am I missing something, or is that just no bonus to stealth?

Picked em in Recruitment just forgot to put them in my sheet. Thanks Castor.
DM, as a 3rd language I would like to choose a commonly used trade language outside of Basic, any suggestions?
As mentioned by Renlo - Bocce would be a good one. Especially given you are in the Outer Rim.

Thanks, Castor. Didn't realize that vibrodaggers were a different weapon group. I switched out the vibrodagger with a regular knife. And I had enough money left over that I was able to exchange the blaster pistol for a heavy blaster pistol. I made sure the stun damage was correct for the new pistol.
I also removed the destiny points. I thought I had done it earlier, but I must have missed it.
Hey, I noticed an errata in my book that said that the "stun" column in the weapon tables should read "Yes", rather than the damage dice. Does that mean stun damage should be equal to lethal damage?
Stun Damage IS equal to lethal damage except where noted (e.g. the stun grenade is 4d6 Stun and none lethal)

I was not able to find any specific rule, so I will relate one to the other. Under the "cloaked" heading in Scum and Villainy, it mentions that it has the appearance camouflaged and it confers a -5 to Deception bonus with regards to someone looking for weapons. That will hold in this case. Others will suffer a -5 bonus to detect your deception.

Some questions.
How local was the 'local' senator? His defense of having been here for some time may actually shed more suspicion on him if she was murdered within half a days travel of our current location. It can't be that hard to rent transport to the next city or two over afterall.
How hard was this information to come by? He said he has been here the last two days, thus revealing he knows the murder happened within the last two days, which would be suspicious to those in the know. It could have just as easily been a week ago, and the news has been so involved with the end of the war and its consequences that the murder has just been to small to cover yet. How likely are people to wonder if his ship was damaged fleeing from the scene of the crime, if they don't know the timetable?
Do I know how the senator was murdered? I would assume my knowledge came from the medical community, and am also assuming that there is some kind of 'ballistics' for energy based weapons. What would be needed to identify his weapon, assuming he pulls one, against the models of weapon indicated by this process?
Do I know how the captain was affiliated in the war? I am assuming CIS from the 'War Crimes' charge, but would like to be sure. Also, what kind of Captain? Battleship, Transport, Cargo? How well known is he?

I will be out of town until about Saturday or Sunday, meaning that my access to the internet will be limited (no computer, just phone). I will try to post if possible, but if I seem to be taking too long and/or holding up the game, please fell free to DMPC my character.
Thank you for the heads up. Enjoy your trip.

It's always nice to get advance notice on something like that. Enjoy your trip.

I am afraid I must drop out of the games I am in. Things are really picking up at work as we get into the warmer months, and we are loosing some of our staff, thus I will be unable to keep up a regular posting schedule. I apologize for the inconvenience I know this causes, and hope you all continue to have fun.

'Moroska?'
Who in the foul swamps of Nal Hutta is Moroska?
Also, for clarification, GM: is the ship's cargo ramp facing us, i.e. we can see up the ramp? Or did you mean the ship is facing us and the ramp's on the opposite end? I think you mean the ramp's facing us, but I don't want to assume.

(Sheepish grin) Oops. My humblest apologies for the name flub. ;)
You are correct. The ramp is facing the group. The engines are opposite your current location.

Gotal was seeking to blend into the shadows a bit and still view the participants, not sure if that is possible. If not, where he is seems fine.
The map is not 3D - but that is an elevated rail just to your left. I revealed more of the terrain. You should be able to see a couple of crates in front of you.

FYI, I am traveling for work from Tuesday through Thursday, my posting over those few days may be spotty as a result.

As a heads up, Friday afternoon I will be traveling to see family for the weekend. My posting may be spotty from then until Monday.

RECAP
As we are moving much slower in game time than in our day to day lives, it's worth taking a moment to put the pieces in place for what's gone on.
Act 1 Scene 1:
You all were in Fischer's Place for one reason or another. The HoloNet news is on high rotation with info about the end of the clone wars and the ascension of Palpatine to Emperor.
Moroka has been working on Captain Byrn's freighter to get it back in shape. They are closing the deal at Fischer's Place when some clones came in to arrest the Captain on grounds that he had assassinated a rather controversial senator. After the local authorities took the captain into custody the situation was defused momentarily.
In short order one of the local security personnel returned to Fischer's Place and informed Huuna that they had been ambushed and that the prisoner had been taken away.
Act 1 Scene 2:
The team made it's way to Jaska's Place where the CIS freighter that Moroka worked was berthed. As they approached they came upon a scene that was still unfolding. The freighter was warming up. Several beings were lying about - either unconscious, dying or dead. Moroka and Renlo carry the injured Jaska back to the entry of the hanger bay doors and set him at Donavaan's feet. Donavaan doesn't seem to notice.
Your team is not the only group attracted to the area. A couple of additional guards in imperial security uniforms approach from the same direction your team did. Donavaan takes the opportunity to shoot one of the security guards and intimidates the second one into dropping her blaster. He then sits down and starts drinking. Jak sees all this silently moves closer the Donavaan. Meanwhile on the inside, there is a standoff between the clones and Captain Byrn's crew. Moroka and Renlo move into the freighter and learn some information about the destination of the ship and find two bodies... one is stunned while the other has been shot and is dying. Outside Corven was able stealthily approach the clones in the stand-off. He was able to stun one and is currently mixing it up with the other.
Gotal was able to disarm the clone shooting at Corven from a distance.
All in all scene one took about an hour front to back and scene two has taken between 5 and 10 minutes to this point.
