The giant tick rears up, freeing itself and it's rider from the bramble with ease. The Mite on it's back turning it baleful glare on Aluxion for his treacherous magics while the tick shuffles forward.

Will Save vs DOOM: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Aluxion is suitably freaked out by the mite's bug-eyed gaze.

Shaken effect, I think?

And technically they need to make second save at the end of my next turn. So they won't take entangle penalties until then when we attack them. Saves are made (1)when the spell is cast (2)when entering the area (3)at the end of the caster's subsequent turns.

Round 2, Initiative 22: Aluxion
I don't have a clear shot because of allies, so I'll be a team player for now.

Aluxion, a bit distracted from the weird look the mounted mite gave him, clasps his holy symbol in his hand and incants a prayer to Erastil.

"Erastil, help us kill these quick, or I'll be havin' nightmares 'bout their faces."

Casting Bless. +1 morale bonus to attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, and saves vs fear. All allies are in range (50 ft). Lasts 2 minutes.

Miri tries to aim with her crossbow, but can't see around the legs of the taller people in front of her. She keeps it handy and instead attempts to solve things... diplomatically.

"HEY YOU BALD, MISSHAPEN EXCUSES FOR FEY! YOUR SKIN NEEDS MOISTURIZER AND YOUR CAVES SMELL LIKE DEGRADED RAT CARCASSES! YOU'RE GONNA NEED TO CHANGE YOUR NAME AFTER WE FINISH KICKING YOUR BUTTS- I'M THINKING 'MITE-BE-SCARY-IF-YOU'RE-A-BLIND-INFANT' HAS A NICE RING TO IT!"

Taking a look at the size of the large giant tick and the fact the others dared not tread in the effects of the spell gave the young elf pause. He withdrew back to his allies then dropped his sword and began to rummage in his pack.

I have some alchemists fire, since they cant exactly dodge seems a good time to use it eh?

He began pulling the first of three from his pack.

Male Half Elf Swashbuckler-1/Rogue-1 (HP: 17/17; AC 15, 13tch,12 ff; F+1.R+8, W+0)

"I can see the advantages, yes," Nedyr replies, "I'd offer to grab one out of your pack and throw it myself, but after my last miserable shot with an arrow, I'm not sure we want me chucking flame."

Female Aasimar Druid, Worldwalker 2

Hella pulls out a shortspear and looks at them.

"I am against using flame for the reason of smoke and harming the tree. But let's see if my spears can do anything. I've got three if people want them."

She holds the one she drew out and reaches for another.

Male Human (Taldan) Cavalier (Gendarme) 1 /Fighter Dragoon 1 (HP 20/20) AC 18

He finds a piece of his mind that still resonates with that same magic. He sends it calming thoughts and intones a prayer similar to the words used to start the spell, putting it to rest, severing the bond between the twisting roots and the divine magic animating them. Aluxion opens his eyes and announces, "Alright, now y'all can chase 'em down."
