Despite this being a three-day weekend, it has been a very busy one for me. I'm not gone, so I wanted to chime in and let you know. Sorry about the delay. Speaking of archetypes, I have been getting a bit more familiar with my advanced class guide and I'm considering allowing more options into this game. (Though I believe that I've been lenient about allowing material outside of the CRB/APG as I outlined in the beginning.)
I'm not ready to allow 3rd party material, and I'm still concerned about lots of the material on the PFSRDd20 website simply because a lot of the material doesn't have context. Yes - it might cite the source book, but it might not say "only allowed by elves" which the original source material provides.
That said, I think I'm willing to start allowing most of the Paizo main books materials. IE- CRB, APG, UMagic, UCombat, AClassGuide, etc. If in doubt, please run it by me here in the discussion thread.
Also level 5 is coming up soon for the party. In light of the looser reins I wanted to propose the option to "redraw" your existing characters into new classes/archetypes/feat retraining, etc. If you do opt to change, I would prefer it to be a similar class. Example, if Catcher wants to redraw from wizard, I would prefer it be something like Magus or Arcanist, or a Wizard archetype.
If Roland redraws his Barbarian, I would prefer it be something like Bloodrager or a new archetype.
I'm still loose on the details. I'd rather not reroll ability scores, but if you really have a hankering for something in particular, let me know.

I have opened a recruitment thread for a possible 5th party member.
I think I felt like most of you did, that the four of you are pretty well-rounded and not in need of a 5th, but it wouldn't hurt one way or the other. There seemed to be no definitive consensus on whether to grab a 5th party member, so I figured let's fish for some responses and maybe we'll find someone we would like to add to the mix.
We can always check out some examples of their posting history, in that regard.
Well, I don't plan on changing anything about Roland.
I just wanted the berserker so I could kill someone in the party and put the blame on the archetype, but well, the Berseker is not really that nice option for that ^_^

I will withhold my vote until all four of you have voted. I'm thinking this caravan -or- the events to come in Kingscrown will both be good opportunities to introduce a new player, so I'm hoping to get everyone's feed back asap.

I'll solicit at least another day's worth of applications before making any decisions.

We are having kind of a Riot, since the taxes are too high. Our infra-structure is so lacking that some transporting companies were able to block the roads, and effectively stop the country. Some states are suffering without gas, while others have no food, or other kind of supplies.
I'm starting to get excited!
Being the 3rd days of blockage our city has no gasoline, alcohol (yes our cars use it), Kitchen gas (yes, we don't use electric stoves) and some minor stuff. The supermarkets are starting to get empty of products ^_^
Several Judges ordered the truck drives to unblock the roads, but they refused it.
Passed by to mention this will probably be a busy week for me. Are you all right?

This is such a drag and I want to apologize, but I've been unable to get up the post(s) that I want to, on time. You're characters will probably entering a combat straightaway, and it takes more prep time than typical responses and NPC banter, and I haven't had time to get prepped. My backlog of home and work was deeper than expected so I'm here to delay yet again. I dig you guys and this game, so I hope this isn't a final straw for anyone. It has just been a tough time for me.
I am aiming (with a 95% certainty) for a meaty post to be up by this weekend so we can be back on schedule.

Doing good so far. Lot of description and good management of NPC's. One thing though. This might help. Leaving a hook for others to play off of is a good rule of thumb. Zedth does this pretty well himself. A little too well as we get off on tangents rather easily. Can't wait for this to start up again.

Hey all! Thanks to Zedth for the invite to the group and for having me! Ever since the recruitment thread went up I've been following your gameplay, enraptured by the story so far. I finished up with the full catch-up reading this morning, so as a player I have a pretty good idea of the story so far. As a character, obviously, I'm coming in clueless.
A little bit about me, to help break the ice and give you some insight into my play style and posting habits, would probably be a good start. My name is Chad, and I'm 41 years young. I've been playing RPGs since the late 1970's and have pretty much tried them all at at some point or another. I cut my teeth on the original version of D&D and fantasy roleplaying still remains my favorite genre. I'm currently the Venture Captain for Pathfinder Society Organized Play in the state of Kentucky, which basically means I help Paizo bring organized play to stores and conventions in my region. I noted that a few of you are familiar with PFS, mostly from a PbP format, so that's a great thing!
My posting is usually done during the day, between 7am and 6pm, with a check-in at night before I call it a day. I'm pretty rabid at times when it comes to posting, so its rare you won't see me responding pretty quickly if the post falls in those hours. I run two PbP games which I recently started, and am playing in another. Because of my position with PFS I do support conventions and game days on most weekends, so my posting is much less during that time. There are several weeks during the year, during things like Origins, GenCon, PaizoCon, etc., where I will likely be away for several days at a time. I'm hoping that Zedth would be kind enough to GMPC me during those times, which will always have plenty of advance notice to keep you all in the loop.
A little about my character. Its rather a new concept for me, an experiment of flaws. Adakos is not a hero. He never wanted to be a hero, he doesn't dream about being a hero, and if he becomes one it will be by sheer dumb luck. He's an every-man, a commoner with some exceptional skills. If you made it through the rather lengthy background you hopefully picked up on the fact that up until this point he's dodged any and all responsibility that has come into his life. He's looking to change that, become a better man, but it will take time and hopefully the character will evolve during our gameplay. Having said all of that, he's still a nice guy, and will be easy to get along with. But your characters have seen and done things that he is just beginning to come to grips with.
Having read the story so far I can honestly say that I am super excited to be joining you all on this trek. Each of your characters so far has been a joy to get to know. Catching up on your gameplay has almost been like reading a book, and I have loved getting to know the characters so far. Now to fall in with them!

Glad to have you aboard. My main home gaming group are guys who also cut their teeth on classic D&D, whereas my first tabletop experience was AD&D 2nd edition. We're all into Pathfinder now. I have zero experience with PF society. Your posting schedule sounds just fine for our game, and yes I will be happy to GMPC you during conventions or other times when you're unavailable.
I'm looking forward to the anti-hero Adakos and his contributions!

That's correct. Being a little more skill focused I used the FCB for skill points instead.
