Whilst the party crowd around the secret door Ev continues to look around at his surroundings with playful curiosity.

Upon hearing Febida's scream his eyes snap forwards.

What's happening... Skeletons? Febida!

Craning to spot what's happening through the rest of the party he makes out enough details to cry out -

Hazuko, didn't Febida keep that healing wand? Can you pull her out the way and resuscitate her?

His mind racing Ev tries to work out how he can help...

We need to draw that skeletons attention some how, what might work... I know... what if, yes. that's the best i can do! I knew that Master Tromild was being too constrained when he taught us about the planes - I can see that in this situation this is the best option. I was never convinced by his moralising of metaphysics.

Ev starts a complex chant involving rising and falling intonations. He starts to weave a spell.

Casting summon monster - going for a dire pony. More HP and blunt hooves. Can I have it appear in the squares under the blue skeleton please.

It wasn't a bad idea; the horse is more durable, and I agree it should have the template as you noted before. Just the lousy offense on the thing since it has secondary attacks. For offense, the eagle is usually a better choice due to the sheer number of attacks; combined with Augment Summon and it's actually a fair flanking attacker. Fragile, but 3 attacks and high speed.

Kel maintains his full defense, and shouts
I can't take another explosion like that! We need to get the injured ones out of the blast radius. Especially Febida!

It wasn't a bad idea; the horse is more durable, and I agree it should have the template as you noted before. Just the lousy offense on the thing since it has secondary attacks. It does have the fiendish template. Which has saved it from all of the fire damage.

Eve completes the spell as Kel Na'Yaa's wounds very slowly begin to heal. The Fiendish pony bucks wildly about the chamber but overall misses the skeleton.

Kel Na'Yaa braces himself for the oncoming onslaught as hakuzo steps further from the fray.

The skeleton's fire continues to burn. as Kel Na'Yaa drops to the ground, though he seems to remain stable.

Fire Aura damage; Pony, Kel Na'Yaa, Febida, Eveladane: 1d6 ⇒ 6

The skeleton moves forward clawing at Dandy.

Claw 1 vs Dandy AC 12: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Fire damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Claw 1 vs Dandy AC 12: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

One claw scrapes across Dandy's face causing his skin to melt.
