I mostly avoid anything that has 'hot' involved in it, anymore. I got burned a lot when I was little, due to not understanding hot. Like... I didn't have an oven mitt to get a pizza out of the oven. So I soaked a wash rag to make it cold before I used it. Water is a much better conductor than cloth, I'm afraid. :(

I'm good with whatever we need. Ary would prioritize her companion's safety over the destruction of enemies. There will always be more enemies, you know? :P

Ary will be more willing to press into the enemies when we aren't worried about the wounded. :)

Okay, I may be misreading the Unchained rules and I don't want to argue, but how am I wounded? I'm only down one hit point. Do temporary hit points count or something?

Yeah, I went over that earlier, that the unchained rules don't clearly state how to interpret the term "maximum hit points" when using temporary hit points.

So I've been summing the temp hit points with the normal HP to determine "maximum hit points", since it makes logical sense to me that spells like false life would interact that way (by making you more resistant to wounding - it takes more total HP to move you a notch overall, but not a straight up pad to the defenses)

We could do this the other way, but if we do, Ary is grazed, Aravashnial is critically wounded (and therefore could not have summoned that elemental earlier), and Anevia is wounded - because they have HP damage but not temp HP damage - so it is not a minor change at this point.

I'm very odd in that on most games I have tons of alts... but on Mobas, I tend to stick to the things I know I like. On LoL I go with Janna. I haven't done anything with Heroes of the Storm. There was one called Dawngate that had the most amazing backstory, and some really neat gameplay mechanics... but was owned by EA. So... it dedd.

Turn in case of busy:
Ary would likely move to the 'south' of where Hrut is right now. Which places her right in the middle of effectively all of her allies that won't be fighting the flies directly, so she'll be able to bolster their AC at her leisure... or hit any flies that fly too close.

I was trying to suggest to Avi that dismissing the False Life effect might be a good idea, but it doesn't have a dismissable duration; it gets discharged when it runs out. :) So maybe -not- wounded. :)

I hope she is okay, if I were up front it would not have happened. A moment of doubt creeping into Hrut's head and shaking it off with a noticeable shake of his helmet.

Ary is currently pretty torn between the right course of action. Defend her fellows... but battle... but other battle... but she is the source of light until the others bring down the fly...

So... I guess the best choice is for her to stand her ground until the others can relocate their attention to the crab-monster... unless things look bad in the direction of said crab monster beforehand.

So... in short... Ary probably holds her action, again. Or readies. Depending. :P

If the fly moves out, and is still alive when Ary can move again, she'll move to aid Little Li'an's Attack. If it's dead, or she can't reach it, she'll stay where she is (if possible while tethered).

If she's still tethered, then she'll attempt to aid her allies once more, ready an action to throw the thing off balance again.

If not... she'll simply hold her action. :)

Action while RP:

Option A: Ary slips over to Li'an's side, and just as Fen'wen begins to strike, she swipes her own blade towards the fly's other side, attempting to dazzle it with the light, or at least draw the attention from her deadly companion.

Option B: Ary will once more attempt to throw the crab off balance if she's still tethered to it. If it relinquishes its grip, then she'll simply wait... and trust her fellows (albeit grumpily) to handle everything as it needs to be handled.

Either way, Aid! Aid: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

Option C: Ary curses her own indecision. Her first -real- sets of combat, and it's been nothing but false choices... at least she has people to protect...

Yes I basically am like, ooo new shiny enemy, this one is basically dead... even though he hasnt had damage as far as I recall hah.

Whoops, guess I should have asked beforehand. Ehren should have had a round 7 action left over right? I don't particularly mind since he's running out of options at the moment, but I just wanted to make sure how it works in case summoning becomes a Thing for him.
