haven't looked at it again yet. But I tried to be specific about following fairly close behind our friendly local paladin. About 5-10ft

Halfling Unch rogue (bandit) Hp 10/10 AC 18, T 15, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +3 (+2 extra vs fear), Perc +7, Stealth +15, Init +4, speed 20 feet.

Likewise, now that you mention it, i followed Doppel closely after he went upstairs, posted it.

I believe he was refering to actually moving your pieces alongside your movements. I took the liberty of moving you both one square behind Astrid and myself, respectively.

Speaking of the map: I don't see the enemies on it yet.

Female Human Paladin [Undead Scourge] 5

I'll post as soon I know the enemy positions as well.

M Human HP:55| AC:18| T:12 |FF:16 |CMB:+10 CMD:23 T:17| Fort:+7| Ref:+7 | Will:+6 | Intitiative:+4| Percetion+15

Yes, well I post a lot from my phone (I'm moving around most of the work day) and it doesn't like to play nice with interacting with Google doc maps.

Monsters are officially up! And my 4 player group has officially just reached level 8. We usually do our games on Roll20 instead with the maps, and, thankfully, they're all folks I know in real life. Maybe in the future we could work something out for Roll20, yeah? Doubt it, but that's a possibility. Generally speaking, though, I do it completely text based.

On the bright side, enemies are officially up! There's 3. Enjoy.

M Human HP:55| AC:18| T:12 |FF:16 |CMB:+10 CMD:23 T:17| Fort:+7| Ref:+7 | Will:+6 | Intitiative:+4| Percetion+15

I use roll20 for my game maps, the only downside is most phones don't even like to show it. (Remarkable number of my pbp players use a phone)

Halfling Unch rogue (bandit) Hp 10/10 AC 18, T 15, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +3 (+2 extra vs fear), Perc +7, Stealth +15, Init +4, speed 20 feet.

Maybe they have a specific app?

Female Human Paladin [Undead Scourge] 5

I can't seem to find my peice on the board. Another problem is I'm posting from my phone, so I'll update the map tonight after work.

Astrid is moving to the enemy farthest to the right, between the two columns (boxes?)

If possible I think adding grid points to the map would be beneficial. That, or color coding enemies to make them easier to target.

Halfling Unch rogue (bandit) Hp 10/10 AC 18, T 15, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +3 (+2 extra vs fear), Perc +7, Stealth +15, Init +4, speed 20 feet.

GM, just out of curiosity, how much HD do these frosties have?

Exactly 5.

Halfling Unch rogue (bandit) Hp 10/10 AC 18, T 15, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +3 (+2 extra vs fear), Perc +7, Stealth +15, Init +4, speed 20 feet.

Ooh, i like that :)

Halfling Unch rogue (bandit) Hp 10/10 AC 18, T 15, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +3 (+2 extra vs fear), Perc +7, Stealth +15, Init +4, speed 20 feet.

Btw GM, these zombies, are they classified as mindless or sentient?

Since my class ability bonethrall say mindless undead receive no willsave.

Lizzie I'm actually surprised you haven't rolled a knowledge for these things yet, but I did, and the lot of you know that they are "Wights"

Frost Wights in particular.

Halfling Unch rogue (bandit) Hp 10/10 AC 18, T 15, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +3 (+2 extra vs fear), Perc +7, Stealth +15, Init +4, speed 20 feet.

That means Dimitri's going to need treatment on his knuckles, unarmed attacks that land have a 1d6 cold dmg back at him.

Male Aasimar

Well that sucks.

Halfling Unch rogue (bandit) Hp 10/10 AC 18, T 15, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +3 (+2 extra vs fear), Perc +7, Stealth +15, Init +4, speed 20 feet.

Seems i will be applying a healing hex soon then.

Bump

Halfling Unch rogue (bandit) Hp 10/10 AC 18, T 15, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +3 (+2 extra vs fear), Perc +7, Stealth +15, Init +4, speed 20 feet.

Yes, come in, the door's open.

Did I find the map I was looking for in the captain's quarters?

Halfling Unch rogue (bandit) Hp 10/10 AC 18, T 15, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +3 (+2 extra vs fear), Perc +7, Stealth +15, Init +4, speed 20 feet.

And imagine, all the monsters you still get to smash.

Halfling Unch rogue (bandit) Hp 10/10 AC 18, T 15, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +3 (+2 extra vs fear), Perc +7, Stealth +15, Init +4, speed 20 feet.

Knock knock,

Who's there?

Me, i kill yuu.

M Human HP:55| AC:18| T:12 |FF:16 |CMB:+10 CMD:23 T:17| Fort:+7| Ref:+7 | Will:+6 | Intitiative:+4| Percetion+15

Smash!!!

Okay! Sorry for the delay everyone, I've been painstakingly making future maps for the lot of you, and I kind of have a very important question for everyone that is really important.

So, I love play by post, but I'm absolutely terrible when it comes to tracking equipment, which is a shame on account of the fact that I have no idea how to make your characters in hero lab.

That said, how do you all feel about rolld20? I was wondering that, maybe we could designate a single day in the week (Maybe 2) and have our game start then and last for a still-undetermined amount of time, and everything that happened could be put together with forum posts (Or jus tremembering it)

Until then, Back to PbP we go!

Halfling Unch rogue (bandit) Hp 10/10 AC 18, T 15, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +3 (+2 extra vs fear), Perc +7, Stealth +15, Init +4, speed 20 feet.

I've no experience with rolld20.

On the side, i'll do an inventory list for us, displaying the items & worth, so we can see wbl and all.

I might as well make one right now, i'm sure the others won't mind it.

I have an incredibly unreliable work schedule which is why I usually prefer PBP. I don't think I'd be able to participate consistently if we were to try and do something in real-time.

If the concern is only equipment I can provide an excel spread sheet and we can designate a tracker.

Well the concern is more progression speed than equipment. If I assume you all still have exactly 10,800 gold I can go from there, but that makes me automatically assume that you never sell anything of that. I mean you guys won't be getting any particular loot until you get to the castle anyway, I believe, but I still need to put something in here to get the gold train trickling, as there ARE five of you.

M Human HP:55| AC:18| T:12 |FF:16 |CMB:+10 CMD:23 T:17| Fort:+7| Ref:+7 | Will:+6 | Intitiative:+4| Percetion+15

The problem with D20 for Me, like Doppler and many others, I just don't have a reliable 'free time' other than about 9-10 Wednesdays and Mondays. And possible Tuesdays during 12-4 ish est time. (4pm)

Do I need to wait for the next round summary before posting my 2nd round action?

Only wait till your turn in init comes up. There's only 1 monster so... you could go now, but only if you think your action will actually happen/doesn't outright kill it.

M Human HP:55| AC:18| T:12 |FF:16 |CMB:+10 CMD:23 T:17| Fort:+7| Ref:+7 | Will:+6 | Intitiative:+4| Percetion+15

Sorry, could someone move me? I won't have access to interact with the map till tonight. But I do get flanking now thankfully.

I don't think you can flank with Doppel as the Wights back is against a wall by the looks of it. I moved your piece into melee anyways.

Sorry for the delay! I've been sort of stuck with midterms, and we'll be back on track in just a bit. Stay tuned~

Are all the bolded people up for their turn? Does Damon have another action to post right now?

Bolded people may go, unbolded may not.

M Human HP:55| AC:18| T:12 |FF:16 |CMB:+10 CMD:23 T:17| Fort:+7| Ref:+7 | Will:+6 | Intitiative:+4| Percetion+15

Is this round 4?

1-Damon full moved into 5ft step range,
2-full attack after 5ft step?

I thought j had the movement if not it would have been round 3 full attac . (Sorry just trying to keep on top of things)

I've been timing it by the Wight, and this is round 3, I believe, as he's only attacked Doppel twice. Regardless, I'm fairly certain he's dead this turn. That said, Doppel missed, and that means that Astrid and Dimitri have a chance to shine, yeah?

Sorry for the delay, Midterms kind of slapped me in the face.

Sorry to hear that

Is there a map or not?

Female Human Paladin [Undead Scourge] 5

I don't much want to clutter up the gameplay

Astrid will basically be awaiting to leave the ship since there doesn't seem to be much here an dthe ship is sabotaged.

I don't want to be a Grumpy Garry or anything but...

I have been looking for a map since Feb 25. Literally an entire month out of game waiting. I rolled my perception check already, I've searched the captain's quarters, why am I still waiting on the results of my search?

At this point I'd be satisfied with a simple "yes" or "no". Am I not making my request clear enough? Did I miss a response at some point?

I get that IRL and other stuff happens at some point, but this is starting to become absurd.

Wait, Doppel, you've never seen the map? Jesus, sorry man. I thought it was obvious. Scroll up to the top of this page, look to the left and look for "The Ship" in blue. Tell me if you find it, I'm really, really sorry.

No, not the battle map.

Whatever map the captain has been using to navigate the ship before he died. I don't want to walk across 10 miles of frozen wasteland in the middle of a blizzard without a map.

Oooooooooh. That map. Apologies, fixing that immediately.

Halfling Unch rogue (bandit) Hp 10/10 AC 18, T 15, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +3 (+2 extra vs fear), Perc +7, Stealth +15, Init +4, speed 20 feet.

I read somewhere, i think giantintheplaygournd, of a party who arrived in a seemingly abandoned village.

The bard wasn't the most tactful person and yelled with all his might if someone was home........sure, cue several vampires and lots & lots of zombies of various races.

Poor GM had planned a 1 house at a time stealth raid....not so much then.

My god that's awful. Fortunately this village is dead!

Funny enough, in the future, when this game is ran, I plan on having a level 1 party start in this city and actually be *from* here, since that would make more sense. The stuff you're staring at is actually the aftermath of the first "Book" so to speak. A ruined village with no survivors, and a Grudge

Unfortunately none of the villagers are statted, or alive, but thankfully I have stand-ins for that.

Also, deepest apologies for the delay! We're back to our regularly scheduled AP now :D

Halfling Unch rogue (bandit) Hp 10/10 AC 18, T 15, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +3 (+2 extra vs fear), Perc +7, Stealth +15, Init +4, speed 20 feet.

Eenie, meenie, minie, mo,.....what villager zombie to control, is the question though.

Sincerest apologies, ladies and gentlemen, on the massive delay. My parents recently got a divorce, and it turned into one of those "Pick your side" situations, and my father decided, in his stupidity, to destroy my 3000 dollar computer that I went halfsies on a year or 2 ago, and as a result, I've been with no internet, wifi, or data. I'm also completely broke! But now I'm back in my dorm and way behind on homework, so, I'm not sure what to do. Thoughts?

Running a game is a lot of responsibility. No one will hold it against you if you want to put the game on further hiatus (or cull it entirely) until you're in a better spot.

I have an immense amount of sympathy for your situation, that goes without saying. Unfortunately I'm not in a spot financially where I can be helping anyone really.
