Moving around Scrapwall, you've all seen a strange flying shape in the air. Astra recalled some kind of mutated manticore that is preying on the town (slowly) and has a nest somewhere.

Liz does have wands of Enfeeblement,Scorching Ray and Exhustion that can really take the starch out of the Manticore

I'm pretty damn useless at range. I could buy a shortbow but that's pretty much it.

I'm just letting you know my capabilities for the manticore fight. And certainly I am willing to move on to the final part without preparation if that's what the group wants, that's not a problem. It was just a suggestion.


Astra knows they are generally lawful evil.

How many days do you want to rest and get ready? Remember you are in a big junkyard town, so the longer you stay the more unpleasant it is. You are likely not attacked during this time as your scrapworth is high.

The bad guys also might be getting stronger and more prepared, the longer you delay.

Well I could afford to lend 1k, but not the second 1k to get it enchanted. Your armor is all good then I take it? Elizabeth doesn't use armor, mine is already +1, I don't know what Syvlara's situation is?

Finding it is the problem too. An extra +1 to AC would get met 22 vice 21, which seems not huge, when I can heal myself.

Prefer to get to where hardness and dr/magic are overcome.

Point. It's entirely possible there is no adamantine greataxe in Scrapwall to buy in the first place.

Well, if nobody else wants anything then, we can get away with 1 rest day for Astra to do her sword, and we'd be good to go as far as I'm concerned.

The creator's caster level must be at least three times the enhancement bonus

A requirement which can be waved by adding 5 to DC of the spellcraft check, which I'll wager is no problem at all for Astra.

FYI. I'll be in town and able to play hard through Thursday. After that, the wife and I and our wee little nipper are going on a Disney cruise. Yes, it promises to be the most awesome vacation ever. Anyways, so I'll be out from 3 April - 12 April, and will be back up and running on the 13th.

I’m thinking of running an adventure via Twitch and Youtube, and was seeing if anyone is interested in playing (maybe Dragon’s Demand or Daughters of Fury). I thought I’d ask you first since you’re already in one of my groups and have some experience with my GM style.

If you’ve watched Itmejp’s rollplay or Dawnforgedcast or Misscliks, or any of the other tabletop shows, that’s what I’d like to try. The pilot/trial will be on Monday the 6th of April, around 7-10 pm Pacific Time for about 2 hours with some time to chat and get ready and breaks (this could change based on players’ preferences/availability). I have no experience using Twitch or Youtube (other than a few videos) and watching a lot of different shows.

-Webcam with decent microphone and a Google Hangouts account/or Roll20 account
-Character
-Excitement and enthusiasm
