I'm not sorry about the songs at all for the record.

Pathfinder Adventure, Rulebook Subscriber

Perhaps we need more songs?

I'm gonna be a mighty king, so enemies beware!
I'm gonna be the mane event
Like no king was before
I'm brushing up on looking down
I'm working on my roar
Oh, I just can't wait to be king!

Hakuna Matata
What a wonderful phrase
Hakuna Matata
Ain't no passing Craze
It means no worries for the rest of your days
It's our problem free philosophy, Hakuna Matata

Silver Crusade

OK, fine!

I feel pretty, oh so pretty!
I feel pretty and witty and gay!
And I feel sorry for any girl
Who isn't me TODAY!

(I've burst into song and dance once, and only once, and it was my junior year of HS and it was to that song...)

Maybe I should have made a bard my powers of mind control and crowd leading seem quite strong.
Although now that I've mentioned it, I will probably fail.

I wanna be the very best
Like none ever was.
To catch them is my real test
To train them is my cause

(I'm musician... so i'm easily lead to start singing at random.)

That is also currently my ringtone ^^ So much to get excited for right now !

I lost my love for pokemon ironically because I found my stepdad old 2nd edition D&D books and fell in love with tabletops ever since before then I was a pokemon nut. I still remember the orginal 3 games.

Pathfinder Adventure, Rulebook Subscriber

I played the first three gens, 1st gen through the remake, all the way through the full story. I started losing interest for 4th and 5th. I'm excited again for the new games. Though by the time i did get a 4th gen game i had been playing 3.5 for a few months. That was my first ever dnd game. It ended last year, in a really cool way. Ah fond memories.

I found those books when I was 8 and didn't get to play until I was 18 so I have a lot of pent up nerdiness for this hobby.

Silver Crusade

Pokemon nut since 1999, I have at least one game/generation. Picked up D&D in 2005 via 3.5, have played several of it's iterations, a retroclone, a few White Wolf ges, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Call of Cthulhu, and a few others until just recently, when its been just Pathfinder Society.

I may or may not have kidnapped and played; Abberant, NewWOD, 3.5 D&D, OldWOD, 7th Sea, GURPS, Scion and Pathfinder plus a few more I can't remember. I'm a bit of a junkie.

I never was quite into the Pokemon scene... more into Final Fantasy games on my PS1 at that time. When I wasn't playing that, I was reading Dragonlance books and playing CounterStrike on my crappy HP at the time. I understand the pent up nerdiness comment Tobaris... I started reading dragonlance (and thereby my intro into D&D) when I was in middle school, I didn't play my first game of D&D until my freshman year at college.

Is it bad that at this point, I am just enjoying the thread and am less obsessed with the roster of the forthcoming game?

"Don't get me wrong, I still would love to play..." He says eyeing the sky as if the uncertain, sometimes benevolent, sometimes wrathful DM Skull might interpret his comment as waving a symbolic white flag.

Good conversation is never something bad.

Well, i was invited by a friend when i was 16 or so to go play with them sometimes, but i didn't get to go. When i went off to college, i started with a fellow orchestra member. I had been doing fate-based system rps for a while before then. It's a really nice free-form system and you can adapt it to so many things. I still play that system often too. Played a bit of Vampire: The Masquerade, tiny bit of Dark Heresy, and i bit of Savage Lands: Weird West. My group started transitioning towards Pathfinder 2 or so years ago. Oh played one or two star wars versions (i know there is more than one)

@KDinIn We are getting to know each other? What can be wrong with that?

Every few hours I check back here hoping for a list because the post count has jumped up, and every time my heart drops again. Although in general nerdiness can I throw in my first game was called chainmail and my favorites so far have been 1st ed gamma world and 1st ed V&V. Never got into pokemon.

They speak the truth

I like Pokemon a little too much for an adult with four kids...but my kids love it too, so it's all good.

I gotta admit, I am really glad Skull didn't make a big deal of posting on time in the initial post, or I'd be laughing a lot. But real life kicks us all in the groin, now and then.

Silver Crusade

Nothing wrong with liking pokemon at sll. And Final Fantasy is also cool. Would love to play GURPS someday, too!

Pathfinder Adventure, Rulebook Subscriber

I greatly enjoy shin megami tensei and fatal frame games. And I've been told I'm to play the new amnesia for some of my friends enjoyment.

Still need to work out a way to play Fatal Frame IV...stupid not being translated over here.

Pathfinder Adventure, Rulebook Subscriber

I know. There's a patch for it but you have to have the homebrew channel and an imported copy. I looked into it but haven't ever ordered a copy.

Ditto...mostly because the imports were expensive.

Absolutely Kana! That was actually my point. I had come to this thread refreshing to see if the list had been posted. Now, I am coming to see the comments and the continued conversation lol. Just funny how that happens sometimes.

As to getting to know people better, absolutely...

We know Tobaris is a curly red-headed little girl who lives with a billionaire who coincidentally looks like a genie himself, and that is where his aspirations to being a Djinn come from :)

We also have Kana, who is obviously a bard, and quite capable of leading a chorus of adventures in campfire songs...

We have the makings of a great adventuring party :)

By all means, I encourage you all to mingle. Even moreso since many of you will be adventuring together and will be either the best of friends or constantly grating on each others nerves. I am still not at liberty to mention who has made it yet, but I did mention to DM Skull about it and he should be working on it as I am speaking of it. You all have shown tremendous patience and it shouldn't be a whole lot longer before we can get the proverbial ball rolling.

Pathfinder Adventure, Rulebook Subscriber

And it's always more fun with friends ^^

Silver Crusade

Party of pals is always better than venturing with villains or delving with dunces!

Or crusading with clods.

... or interrogating with ignorants, investigating with infidels, inspecting with idiots!

Pathfinder Adventure, Rulebook Subscriber

fiddling with fiends?

...dodging with dumdums?

asking questions with inquisitive idiots?

Sorry this was the only one that I could think of... Someone told me a phrase and it went along the lines of

"There are no stupid questions, only inquisitive idiots." And it has been imbedded into my brain after dealing with people like this for two years in a row.

...adventuring with annoyances (not sure how well it works, but I am gonna go with it)

Conquering with Comrades!

Pretty apt, considering that this is a Kingmaker game we are all trying to get in on...

So no Masquerading as Marauders?

*feels the need to keep up the alliteration*

Allying with Andoran!

I have been waiting for Gollum but now Rumpleteazer and Gildaradner are dead and I do not know where Virginia is but who is afraid of Waldo Wolf?

Gnawing on Golarion.
Wait does that make me a Tarrasque?

Pathfinder Adventure, Rulebook Subscriber

Excavating Expenses?

Frisking Forests!

Pathfinder Adventure, Rulebook Subscriber

Kidnapping Kittens!

Alrighty folks, the dreaded/anticipated post you were waiting for. Final selections have been made and I just sent the last PM out. If you don't get one from me don't be too disappointed. It was a pain trying to choose just a handful from the dozens of very good applications I got but it had to be done. However feel free to carry this very interesting conversation over to the discussion thread attached to this one and follow along as the story progresses!

Well poo lol. Hope whoever made the cut has a great game!

Silver Crusade

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO{5 hours later}OOOOOOOOOO!!!

Oh well... Best of luck to everyone!

Oh well. Congrats to everyone who made it.

None of you guys would want to run one would you? I would but I'm already running one and I have a strict no same adventure twice at the same time rule. But I would love to play in one especially one that isn't ridiculously huge.
