I just have to say this since it keeps coming up. Every time someone says "brother" in the thread, I reading it in a Hulk Hogan voice.
I want to apologize to everyone for my lack of consistent posting lately; real-life has hit me like a ton of bricks in the last eight weeks. I haven't said anything to the group about it because I've never been one to burden others with my own problems, but it's also not fair to everyone else for me to keep things to myself when it might slow the game down, so I think it's time I let the cat out of the bag.
To make a long story short and not go any more in depth than I need to, after eight weeks of separation I've asked my wife for a divorce. Thankfully, we have no children and she's agreed after several long talks not to contest it; we've also worked out property distribution on our own, so there will (thankfully) be no attorneys involved. Even so, it was the most difficult decision I've ever had to make in my life.
I'm not ashamed to say that my faith in God has been a big part of what's kept me going these last weeks; if any of you are praying people, please know that I would covet any word you may send to the Father on my behalf and on behalf of my wife. This is going be a very difficult transitional period for us both.
I will keep you and your wife in my prayers. God bless and God speed to both of you.

Just wanted to pop into the discussion thread and let you guys know that I'm back for right now; hopefully there won't be a time when I'm gone again for so long. I'm about to be going on vacation with some of my family so there may be some times when I can't post, but I shouldn't be gone for days on end like I was this time.
Just to give everyone an update on the situation, all the legal stuff is pretty much handled now. I filed for the divorce and have a court date set, which my wife is probably not even going to come to. With all the paperwork filed and everything more-or-less settled I should be back on track to keep up with the AP again.
Let me again express my gratitude to DM Papa, and everyone else, for being patient with me as I got all this stuff taken care of. If anything else comes up, I'll definitely let y'all know, but I'm hoping nothing else is going to spring up that knocks me for a loop the way I have been.
Hi guys, sorry about the delay in posting. I was working on my post this morning and the freaking power went out. I am waiting on it to come back up. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Today, at 5:30pm or so, when my wife and I go to our Thursday night dinner restaurant, we are picking up our almost 3 year old grand daughter there and will return her to my daughter and son-in-law on Sunday afternoon. She will be staying with us at the campground. Since both my wife and I are in our mid to late 60s, when we put her to bed around 8:00pm, we will probably have a quick glass of wine or a beer and go to bed ourselves !
At her age, she is a dynamo of energy. So if I don't do updates till Monday, that is the reason, sheer exhaustion. I think that I will be able to, but I am just not sure....

Fairly speaking, the breastplate is probably best on Ezro or Hyram, since it's medium armor. I'll let Hyram decide if he wants the Composite Longbow, since he and Quinn are the only ones that could use it effectively.
So, parsing out what's available, just as suggestions:
Quinn - +1 Blinding Shield, 20 cold-iron arrows
Hyram - +1 Cold-Iron Longsword, masterwork chainmail, # of c-i crossbow bolts or composite longbow and some c-i arrows
Ezro - +1 Breastplate, cold-iron longsword, # of c-i crossbow bolts
Aladir - balance of c-i arrows, holy arrows, slaying arrow
Alikia - cold-iron longspear (maybe?), # of c-i bolts
Any recommended changes?
Looks good to me. Maybe Quinn should take the longbow because it does more damage than his short bow.
Also, if I take the +1 CI longsword (Yes, Please!) then I will no longer have need of Horgus' sword. If no one else wants/needs it, I think we should return it to him the next time we see the dude.
I would prefer Hyram take the +1 Breastplate personally, hes getting hit a lot and it will not up my AC significantly. Otherwise I am good.
@DM: Just a note, Quinn will probably very rarely use sword and shield together. Most likely, he'll use the shield as a weapon on its own. So, unless he takes Improved Shield Bash at some point, or there are some other exceptional circumstances, there's no need to include the shield in Quinn's AC.
I mostly just want to try out the Blinding power!
(I wish he'd had it walking into that barricade in the chapel...)
@Everyone: Updated Quinn's inventory with the shield, composite longbow and 20 c-i arrows. As soon as everyone lets me know what they are claiming, I'll update the party inventory with the remaining loot.
And I'm ready to head upstairs when you all are!
Quinn, I cannot use longspears, because wizards get a very small list of useful weapons, I will however take some of those bolts. :D
Weapon proficiency isn't really important for wizards... If you're in melee, you're in trouble.
On the other hand... "Brace Against Charge" is a magic phrase that can save your life! ;)

Although this is still three weeks away, I wanted to let everyone know that Ezro and I will be attending gencon this year, so our posting schedule will sparse to non-existent during July 29- August 3rd. My husband and I are driving up on Wednesday and returning on Sunday, but both drives can be 9+ hours for us, without stops.
I just wanted to let everyone know now, so that way when we vanished into thin air for an extended period of time, everyone knew where we were.

The AP gives level 6 and mythic tier 1 quite abruptly near the end of Gray Garrison, so please be prepared for all three levels (5,6,mt1) RSN(*).
