HP 2nd level: 1d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 2 = 9
HP 3rd level: 1d6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 1 + 2 = 8

Seems Paizo ate my previous post (same rolls, though). Anyways, HP total should be 26. Not bad for a d6 class.

Still flipping through things to spend gold on, but I'm almost definitely grabbing a cloak of resistance +1 and a level 1 pearl of power.

HP 2nd level: 1d6 ⇒ 4
HP 3rd level: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Meh, not too bad for a Wizard, I suppose.

Quick question: do the new players get scales of the silver dragon? Because, in my original game, Voren had the cloud walking scale. Really helped us out. Just curious overall.

Yes, any new player joining midway found a silver scale of teredelev somehow. You are fated after all.

1d10 ⇒ 6
1d10 ⇒ 4

Unless your against it, i'll just take the half plus 1 on hp. Thats what it seems the die roller wants me to have anyway. :P

First I would like to thank everyone who expressed interest in our game. I am grateful for the effort you all made to join and I hope you'll stick with us in the future.
I hope we'll do this epic story justice.

====================================================

That said, I would like to invite to our game:

Darksmokepuncher
“Raziel of Mendev” (Demonspawn) Tiefling Ninja (Scout)

Professional Calvinball
“Silya Massi” Human, Wizard (Rahadoumi)

tieflingwizard
“Voren the Outsider” Male Tiefling Witch (Hedge Witch)

Congratulations to all!

Now, everybody complete your builds if you haven't already and report to the Discussion board. We'll see about your game entry there.

This Recruitment is closed until further notice.

Congratulations to those accepted, best of luck with the game!

Good luck, have fun!

RECRUITMENT IS OPEN!

A couple of slots have opened up in this Wrath of the Righteous game; we're looking to recruit!

Our current team is made up of:
Arthas Sword of Ragathiel
Male Human Paladin 4
Jokum of the Breakbones
Male Aasimar Ranger (Shapeshifter)/4;
Karthak Ironbreaker
Male Dwarf Inquisitor 4
Voren the Outsider
Male Tiefling Hedge Witch 4

The players have requested a full divine spellcaster and some kind of a skill-type character

Situation: The Worldwound Gambit; Book 1, Part 4
The characters are currently resting up in the old stone travelers inn, Defenders Heart, where the Kenabres resistance has its headquarters.

Build: is the twenty point buy, two traits, one of them campaign.
Character Level four, 6000 gp to outfit yourself.
To Generate Hit points; roll for hitpoints (plus con plus toughness plus whatever), but reroll if you get less than half+1.

Just a brief paragraph as to your basic build, personality, appearance and how you would fit into the combat team. A detailed background can wait until you're selected.

I'm looking for a fast turnaround, so decision by Friday (hopefully).

Definitely dotting.

Got an interesting idea for a Kuthite character I've been wanting to try out.

Would the Crusader archetype be too "non-full divine caster"?

Also, what kind of divine caster do they want?
Is a focus/semi-focus on healing required?

With my Kuthite, he'll probably be a buff/debuff cleric.
With combat capability and Channel Smite.

Edit: I noticed there was a paladin in the party, and yes, I know how to not start fights. He will most likely be LN, with should help the paladin get along with me.

Edit 2: Man, touched by divinity is good. Will probably be taking hierophant anyway, so why not? 1/day protection from chaos? Yes, please.

bigrig107 wrote:

They have not really said. There is already a healing focused Witch present, but they also said 'there's no such thing as too much healing'.

Okay, cool.

Yeah, I did look at the witch, and he seemed healing focused.
With Legions's Blessing at 8th, I'll be able to split harmless spells between 1/2 allies.
So.

I'll have to talk to the paladin about playing with a LN character that worships a LE deity, and has an "evil" aura.

Silver Crusade

dotting, Never liked full divine (save druid) so I will be making a skillish type character. Leaning towards Inquisitor, does the party have any preference on "skill type"?

Notice rorek55, they already have an inquisitor.
You might be stepping on his toes.

Silver Crusade

I had thought to go ranged inquisitor though, and hope to play good cop bad cop, however if he feels That would step on his toes, I will make an investigator. Yes, I'll go ahead and give the investigator a try

How do you feel about uncommon races?
Specifically, Dhampir?

If you don't like it, I can stay human.

rorek55, just wasn't sure if you'd seen that.

I've have Lisandra Elsinore, an aasimar Oracle of Life I had made for a WotR game that didn't get in. Her stats will need to be adjusted (it was a high powered stat generation), but she is otherwise ready to go.

The background is on the above link, the specific crunch can be found here.

HP: 1d8 ⇒ 6

Noticed earlier you said each new player gets a silver dragon scale.

Does that still apply?

Silver Crusade

we will be using the mythic rules correct? ( I ask so I don't pick up redundant feats, (weapon focus/slashing grace for my sword cane)

1d8 ⇒ 1

1d8 ⇒ 2 really????
1d8 ⇒ 7 finally!

so, thats 8+7+7+6 +4 total=32

Silver Crusade

are drawbacks allowed?

Also, for extracts, I will assume minimal number I can have.

I'm interested!

I'll be working on a cleric (evangelist).

HP: 3d8 ⇒ (2, 5, 4) = 11
HP: 2d8 ⇒ (2, 8) = 10
HP: 1d8 ⇒ 5

Dreaming Warforged here with a cleric (evangelist) of Iomedae.

Equipment takes me a very long time. If you don't mind, I'd do it once selected.

Background:
Zenithar James Holmes was born to a mother after she was forcefully raped by a foul demon. His mother, Alecia Holmes, kept him, and for a while, James appeared to be a normal child. Until his 12th birthday, when he suddenly, (and painfuly) grew not only small, hidable horns on his head, had his eyes turned red (irises), but also grew a full length tail! His parents were able to cope with this after discovering their child would indeed inherit the fiendish “boons” of his father. And, for a while things continued to go well, save the looks many of the other townsfolk gave the family an boy, and the fact that the boy had a hard time making, and keeping friends. Then however, the demon that spawned the child returned… (unfinished)

Appearance and Personality:

Calculating, serious, blunt, yet, somehow likable, he is very practical in his approach to things and often has little time to care for people’s feelings on the subject or matter at hand. He works on any case but has a particular hate for demons and devils, as he blames them for many of the hardships in his life and one Demon in particular that took from him everything.

still working on the background but heading to work so wont get it done till tonight at the earliest, added a personality into him as well. The build will focus around melee combat during team battles with limited buffing and quite a bit out-of-combat usefulness. Also, I plan to churn out CLW/CMW/CSW potions like nobodies business provided a small team fund is formed for it. Also, I can handle the traps!

Here is Azim, he was in a wrath game once that died at the start. Hope to join you guys. I plan on 4 levels of paladin and will be a hospitaller to help with healing. Will be taking flag bearer at level 5 and would be happy to carry the orders symbol for us all.

Me as a player: I'm in 6-8 games now, a couple may be dieing. 2 are over 2 years 1 is over a year and the others are months in. I'm very reliable poster and post offten. Not much on the weekends, but I check in and will if needed. Thanks for the consideration.

1. Is the party looking for something particular for a divine caster? (Healing, Buffs, anti-undead, ect.) Every player has spells with their class, are they looking for specific high level spells (reason for asking for a full caster).

2. What skills do they think need to be covered with the skill-type? Or do they simply want a rogue or bard for a wide range of skills covered?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Have they reached Mythic 1 yet? (is this what is implied by the fact that they all have a silver dragon scale?)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Are the paladin, ranger, and inquisitor all melee focused?

I think a traditional cleric or wizard is fine. We are dealing with evil devils, demons and extraplaner stuff. I think a wizard or cleric that can summon and control the battlefield would be good. I think a good rogue type would be good. I think the overiding theme of the game though is GOOD. Good characters doing things to right the heavens. I know DM Camris though can work with any character combinations some just make it harder for the party.

We do need people who like to interact with the other players and have fun.

Maybe some of the other characters can chime in.

Silver Crusade

Yeah. I had intended my investigator to be working to slay the demons. I wouldn't say he is "good" but he is definably not BAD. He is normally thought of as good, as he finds, tracks, and busts most demon/devil related evil (be it demons or cultists) even if the main reason he does it is for revenge and a hatred for the beasts. However... He is slowly becoming good for good sake as people take to him bette .

I agree with Arthas on his points.

To answer gossamer's questions:

1) Like Arthas said, it isn't specific what we're looking for in the divine caster. I personally believe that a little more healing and buffs/debuffs would go a long way. Arcane users would be good, especially in conjuration and abjuration.
2) We can go either way on the skills. If you want to focus on skills that we lack in to cover, that's fine. If you want to be widespread in skills, that's fine, too.
3) We have not reached mythic yet. We each have a scale from the silver dragon, indicating that we are 'chosen' (basically the dragon is vouching for us).
4) I haven't been with the team long. But from our first combat together, I would say that they focus on combat quite a bit.

@rorek55
The tiefling investigator looks interesting. Would be interesting to play with in the party.

@bigrig107
A Kuthnite cleric? A bit of stretch. But it might work.

@Bertholdt
Interesting. A cleric that can provide us with healing and support via bardic performance. Nice!

@Abdul
Bard/Paladin. Very interesting.

@Lisandra
Your build is very nice. I'm a bit iffy on the 3pp curse. But it fits. It would be interesting to see how your aasimar oracle healer reacts to my tiefling witch healer. Especially with her opinions on tieflings.

I'd be very interested in making a cleric of Milani. Edit: I'm going to submit a Half-Elf Separatist(Liberation/Luck) cleric of Milani at the moment. I have all the fluff done, would you like to make the crunch as well, or wait and handle that if I get selected, since it would take considerably longer to finish?
HP Rolls: 1d8 ⇒ 3
HP Rolls: 1d8 ⇒ 5
HP Rolls: 1d8 ⇒ 6
HP Rolls: 1d8 ⇒ 4
Rerolls: 1d8 ⇒ 6
Rerolls: 1d8 ⇒ 7

Application Question Answers:
My basic build would be healing/buffing focused, using my domain abilities and spells to maintain mobility and safety for the group. If I had to attack, I'd be using a spiritual weapon to deal most of my damage, but I would likely prefer to buff, since it seems that the party is already pretty damage-heavy.
My character would be a tall, blonde half-elf, who favors his human heritage more so than his elven. Dressed in light armor, he is continually moving around the fray, attempting to gain the best angle for an advantage, and even moves continually when not fighting, fidgeting constantly. A crooked, clearly broken, nose is the only sign of his somewhat abrasive personality. He isn't disliked because he is dour or cruel, but merely because he enjoys poking fun, at others or himself. This has led to several unfavorable fights, all of which he has lost due to his lack of combat training. As a result, he's done his best to restrain himself in recent years, reining in his sharp tongue in an attempt to be more positive and likeable.

I don't have an alias created yet, but can put it together very quickly.

I would like to submit:

Elf Arcanist(School Savant: Teleportation)
Daeron the Mystical (perhaps)

not sure if y'all picked your post titles or earned them somehow

Key points:

Full Caster
Int based = more skill points
Teleportation school = Focused Arcane school of Conjuration (summoning bonus)
- Shift (wizard school) & Dimensional Slide (arcanist exploit) will allow character to move freely around battlefield handing out buffs.
Arcanist will be able to use untility spells
Upon reaching Mythic: Archmage, can provide crafting of magic items (save gold and equip party character's better, and faster)
Elf will allow for ranged combat w/ Longbow as needed/backup (although dealing damage will not be his focus)

Extra gravy

Able to post more than 1/day. (access to paizo boards at work, check for new posts at least 5 times/day)
Excited to join Mythic game (never played Mythic, but looks rewarding and challenging at the same time)
I play nicely with others: don't try and steal the spotlight, respect others decisions, promote the "fun" of playing

Thank you for your consideration

Some answers to some questions...

bigrig107 wrote:

I think the chance of this is fairly low. I’m sure there is an interesting game to be had with the morally grey team rife with internal conflict try to save the world, but this crew isn’t it.

bigrig107 wrote:

Specifically, Dhampir?

I’m OK with it. I have Blood of the Night.

bigrig107 wrote:

Anyone selected will have found a silver scale of Terendelev. It will give you a beneficial power, and indicate you are touched by Destiny (the gods say you should Team Up!). By itself does not make you Mythic though.

Rorek55 wrote:

Yes they are.

Bertholdt Escheus wrote:

I think we all understand about equipment; especially after first level. It’s cool with me.

1. There is no real consensus here.

2. I think a broad range of skills are desired.
3. No, not yet. The silver scale by itself does not make you mythic.
4. They are all fairly melee focused.

Aww, had a really cool rebuff/healer cleric build in mind.

But, I understand that with the "good" themes, he wouldn't be liked.

I'll come up with something else, I'm sure.

After taking a look at the current characters' backstory/build, and some more reference to the WotR player's guide...

If DM and Voren don't mind, I would like to incorporate part of the suggestions for Riftwarden Orphan campaign trait. Having Voren and my character related. This will change my previous stated race from Elf to Tiefling also.

Voren the Outsider wrote:

@Lisandra

Thanks Voren; I had a pretty clear intent on making a healer when I designed this character, and I think this one works well.

As to the 3PP Merciful Curse, I can swap it out if that's an issue - I had selected it because thematically it suited the character better than the official options (it also bolstered her healing options), but I could make some of the others work as well.

Come on you guys know you want to play with Abdul-Azim so he can carry the orders war banner into battle. He will aid in healing add some skills and arcane support all while being able to be good in combat so you don't have to protect or keep him safe. My channels will be week but we can by some meditation crystals and then each channel will turn into an extra lay on hands for our paladin. Alright shameless plug over :)

Since the group is fairly melee oriented, the following changes would be possible for Bertholdt.

Possible change:

Switch stats: Dex 17 and Str 10.
Change feats for H-Longow Proficiency, 1-Point Blank Shot.

Those simple changes would allow Bertholdt to provide some support as an archer, in addition to his bardic performance, cleric buffs, and glory domain.

Just putting it out there so you know it's an option.

@gossamar4
Interesting... Interesting... I'm curious to see how that'll work. Considering that Voren's from the past (he was there when the Worldwound opened) and he didn't know his family.

@Lisandra
I wouldn't mind the oracle curse. I think it would be interesting. It's up to Camris, though.

@Abdul
Seems like you put a lot of thought into it. I would be interested in see it in action.

@Bertholdt
Nice. A lot of nice things. It could help us to have another ranged character.

I'm still getting the story put together, but this alias should have the crunch for gossamar4's tiefling arcanist

Silver Crusade

Also, most of the time, James will be ranged combatant until we get our first mythic level.

Though he may go into melee when he uses his mutagen. (+str-int until mythic) after that he will be a mostly melee character.

Working on a dhampir oracle 1/cleric 3 of Iomedae.

Will have stats/fluff up later tonight.

DM-Camris, so would you like the crunch put together before you select, or are you okay with us waiting to complete it afterwards, since 4th level characters can take a while to fully stat out.

I have an aasimar purifier Oracle that I can submit. The general concept is to pass out some buffs, and then use Purifier's channel to harm demons, while pushing them away from vulnerable targets, or pulling them in toward our melee ones, while still falling back on 9th level casting.

She is currently Level 1 because she was in a failed WotR campaign that died in the first room, but I can update her to Level 4 if you wish.

HP: 4d8 ⇒ (2, 4, 2, 6) = 14

Wow. Those sucked.

Again: 3d8 ⇒ (7, 3, 1) = 11

Not quite.

Again?: 2d8 ⇒ (2, 6) = 8

Ugh.
One more time.

Once more: 1d8 ⇒ 5

There we go.
