After this encounter Buchart will give Sekkimm a scroll of Bull Strength and the Wand of Burning Hands (3 ch). Allot of good it will do here though, but against Razmiri...?
GM Pablo |
Buchart adds 17 more after DR5
Cela dances about and keeps Fahari back so she doesn't burn her little lion paws (she's so cute!}
Fernleaf acts like a wizard or goblin witch doctor...hard to say.
Dusan fires the light crossbow
Light Crossbow: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 161d8 ⇒ 7
”Three! It's a magic number!” He looks at Fernleaf, Sekkimm and Cela then he dances about (in place) and shakes his stinky booty at the creature. ”Chop the burning man's head off, Lady with huge nasty feet !”
Rolande hits twice and adds 5 more after DR

You follow the trail which stays on the west 2nd ring road, a main passage, and follow it a quarter of the way around the city. The Razmiri group reached yet another Intersection with a rune carved trench like the two you just crossed and fought Fire Elementals. There is a pause here where they break for a brief rest. The trail then leads through the city , apparently trying to go around the carved runes and avoid summoning another creature (good idea Buchart!). Follow the trail into the gold covered ruins or go through the runes? (ruins or runes?)
GM Pablo |
You turn off the main path and move into the ruins. You follow the trail past houses and businesses coated in gold. You see everyday objects such as silverware, toys, tools and furniture sealed in a wonderful yellow, metallic casing preserved for all time. You have difficulty fathoming the sheer volume of gold here, but it is eerily beautiful. The tracks lead you to another main street which leads south to the runes carved intersection you cross to go back in more ruins following the tracks around the dangerous intersection.
Halfway past the next block there is a sudden clanging of shields and weapons which resounds as a pack of flaming, gold-plated skeletons bearing golden scimitars rise up from the nearby ruins and advance. You see a crest beneath the gold plating that matches those worn by the soldiers depicted in the mural in the map room
Anaba Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Buchart Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Cela Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
Fernleaf Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
Rolande Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
Sekkimm Perception: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (9) + 0 = 9
Anaba, Cela, Fernleaf and Rolande can act in this surprise round.
Either a move or standard action - not both i.e. Rolnade can fire 1 round. (See Ruins map)

Dusan takes a long draw and his eyes light up. "I haven't tasted anything like that in 10 years. Why did the society abandon me here for so long...?" He takes out his journal and starts to write (outloud), "So far they have surprisingly not gotten me killed. So much treasure here, I am sure it is cursed and we are all already doomed. The sociopath they call Buchart is also an alcoholic. Only three bolts left."

Bowfire with blunt arrows.
I will roll my best guess and hope for some adjustments for being hidden? Would they be considered flat-footed, etc. Shooting from above? From cover? With blunt arrows? ie; please check my math and for blunt arrows, please.
Short Bow - sneak: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 9 + 2 = 22 Short Bow damage - sneak: 1d4 + 2d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + (7, 4) + 1 = 16
