@Sidious

You need to assign your 3 points to stats for the Organization. And then take 3 actions. Also, did you want to summon the Hell Hounds/Nightmare/Mudmen or did you want me to post about it? I'll wait until you decide.

@ Eldred/Johan you can take 3 actions also, these use the Boggards/Drownington help.

Basically this part of the adventure is a sandbox so we are very much in control of what happens. Let's make it awesome!

For Servants/Bound creatures I think that the Daemons should be left to guard the Sanctum for now.

Hell Hounds would make awesome guard dogs to follow Johan around.
A Nightmare would make a fine mount for Eldred
The Mudmen would be good in the caves...makes sense for them I think.

Just to clarify:

Agrippa gets 3 actions from his organization.

Sidious gets 3 actions from his organization as well.

Johan gets 3 actions for being boss of the frogs.

Eldred gets 3 actions from the hired help from Drowninton.

I am back and trying to get caught up on work and my games. Worked 10 hours today plus did some taxes plus scouts. I think I will have to wait til tomorrow to update this as I have to go back and make sure understand the rules for both Fiendish Leadership and for the organization.

Agrippa, I was always good with a combined org. Do you have recommendations for my actions? At this points I do not know the options. And we we also get actions each? Sidious has some spells to cast and temples to desecrate.

To all my games:

I fell off my bike while going to work today.
Aside some bruises, I’m mostly fine but in no mental condition to post today. I apologize for it.

@Johan
Since you don’t have an organization, you cannot benefit from adding its status to the roll, but that don’t prevent you from performing the action. Since you took Grumblejack as well, and are trying a ruthless action, you may add his STR modifier to the roll.

Which would gives you:
1st week: 20
2nd week: 19

It’s enough to pass both tests.
Let’s see what you get:
1st week:1d10 ⇒ 9 Giant Scorpion (CR 3)
2nd week: 1d10 ⇒ 4 1d2 ⇒ 1 Snake, Constrictor (CR 2)

Feel free to write it up how you caputered them, if you are feeling up to it.

@Sid Yes we each get 1 action per week.

As for actions, you could check here or make up your own.

Right now I think we are just kinda gathering forces and rebuilding the dungeon. So anything your minions could do to help that would be good.

I just need some time. I am already spending 4 times as much time on this game as any others but I am not caught up. I had a con, and a family trip and am behind on everything. I am working 11 hour days at work. Taxes are looming. The house is a wreck. Both my kids are having some personal problems. My back is out which is causing bad sleep and pain and prevents exercise. I am running a home game that takes a lot of time (all evening yesterday to prep and all evening today to run). And on top of all that my dog just up and died. She was only 12 and as a small dog that is pretty young. It all adds up to a lot of stress.

Right now I see this game as an obligation only. No fun. No enjoyment. I am holding you guys back but that is not likely going to change. My choices are to take the time to understand all the options and make good decisions, or to make quick, ill informed decisions and feel bad about not doing a good job.

I still do not have a good handle on Leadership vs. fiendish leadership and how the house rules impact this. Do I get a cohort? If so do I find it? What about this Evil org? Do I have to understand its rules> Am i expected to run it? How do I possibly know what actions my minions need to take? What is important now? What will be later? I am simply lost.

Sidious, tough times, sorry that everything is hitting you at once. I for one would hate to see you have to drop the game. Lets see how the rest of us can lessen the burden for you and bring back the fun. First off don't worry about the organization actions - just delegate those to the rest of the players. As Aku said when talking me off the leadership cliff last week, its not that big a part of the adventure.

Second, The leadership feat. Couple of options here - first, do what Eldred is doing and don't take it yet. No reason you can't wait till level 9 and re-examine then. Or take now, give Aku a quick couple of ideas for a cohort and let Aku flesh out the rest.

You guys carried my extra weight through the holidays and new year, I'm happy to do the same now for others if it means making the game fun for you again.

Errr, I'm not sure about the timeline. Whatever you think is appropriate.

I know it doesn't take an org action, I just wanted to include them. I also put it on the weekly log to keep track of time is all.

Also, I've put the Hell Hounds to guard 3-1 the entrance to the upper level. I also put Hexor and Vexor guarding the Sanctum...I'm not sure where the Wraith was going to be.

Yep, I know, Life is hard. I'm not diminishing your troubles, but we all see that the others, Johan and Eldred, while real busy try to keep a minimum posting rate, since it was what we agreed in the game.

With that said, take your time and don’t worry. Get your things together and once you are ready, we will be here. However, the longer you take, harder it gets to get up to date in the game.

The way I see it, what you need to do is simple:
1º: Do you want to create an organization? Read it HERE if the answer is yes.

Bellow, only if the organization was created:
2º: You have 3 organization actions, which can be used to perform These actions, or any other else you think about.

3º: Decide if you want a monstrous cohort or a NPC, and I’ll create/integrate it into the game.

And that’s it.
It’s kinda simple what you need to do, you are just bogged down with a lot of things and thinking it’s hard, because the task feels hard, but it’s easy when you start putting things together.

From this moment on, all the 'NPC's' in the horn are yours to control.

I've posted in campaign info, the most relevant status for each of them (Boggards, Daemons, Captured animals, Hounds and so on.)

You should decide how you plan on controlling them (For fun sake, I would say you never put less then four together, this way, each of you can control a ‘npc’ while I control the heros).

This helps a lot. I had read about the orgs but not in a while. A couple questions - Do we get three actions/week, or does this represent 3 weeks? ( I am thinking the latter). And have we formed a council or not? Does forming the council limit total actions? i.e. if my org gets three and Agripa's org gets three, would the combined org get 6? and I think I have points to assign my org, right? Thinking about putting them all into espionage and work to spread disinformation and frame good people.

Lets go with that - Two actions for disinformation and one for frame someone in town. And Sidious wants an NPC cohort - maybe a religious fanatic. I am happy to let you decide who shows up.

Thanks for both the help and patience. Almost there.

Edit: I can't find where you discussed the alternative to Leadership - Was it called Fiendish Leadership? Do you mind linking that reference for me?

Journal Formulae/Consumables Hp 45 AC 17, T 13, FF 14, F+3, Ref +8, Will +6. Speed 30ft, Perc +11, Init +3

It's called Vile Leadership

You get one action per week. For a total of 3 for the 3 weeks that have passed. About the combined Organization, yes we each get one action per week to assign.

For actions you need to roll a d20+espionage modifier.

I'll update the spreadsheet to show your actions.

Thanks. I guess we do not know the DCs before we try an action.

Espionage 1: False Info: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Espionage 2: False Info: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Espionage 3: Frame someone of importance to the enemy cause: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

Any undead you will create, will not gain any creation bonus as listed, because you were supposed to create them before the ritual started.

The bonus to atk, dmg and others still applies tho.

Well, since no one else spoke up, I'll take the nightmare. Thinking it over, Johan mounted on a loyal steed wreathed in hellfire is pretty flipping cool. Aku, would you let me reselect Johan's lvl 7 skills to take a couple ranks in ride? Its a considerably less cool visual if he falls off his horse the second it starts to move.

-5 (magic full plate) -1 (magic heavy steel shield) = -6 ride check. 3 ranks would at least make that a +1 (+3 ranks, +3 class skill, +1 dex). Man! how do cavaliers and paladins pull that off?! What other investments would Johan have to make to make riding that nightmare a viable thing?

The DC depends on what action you are trying to accomplish.

It would be, for example almost impossible to pass on a false info saying that the Briar isn’t dangerous, because, everyone knows the place is dangerous.

Anyway, I need more information to solve your action:
For week one, what false info you are trying to pass? And for week two?
What ‘someone from importance’ you meant? Someone from Farhold? Someone related to Mitra faith? How are you framing him?

@Vile Leadership/Leadership

Don't worry about it. Because since you are 'creating' an organization, the only aspect of the leadership that permeates is the cohort. Followers turns into minions, and you’ll be getting more minions as long you keep your organization alive. As you gain ‘actions’ that can be performed per week, to do a variety of things, from legal enterprises, to assassinations and such.

@Cohort
Just to make sure: You want a divine related cohort? Whenever someone says religious fanatic, the first thing I think of is an Inquisitor, because, truth be told, there’s any other more fanatic than them? Anyway, give me some more guidelines, such as preferred classes, sex, races. Notice I put it on plural, because I’ll ‘customize’ it a bit, so I need some options to work with.

I think Sidious mentioned if no one wanted the Nightmare, he would take it, check with him.

Also, Cavaliers don’t take armor pen when in their chosen mount.

More also, the DC’s are easy. What you most likely wants is: Guide your mount with the knees (So you can use both hands that turn, DC 5), Stay in saddle (If you take an attack, to avoid falling: DC 5) and lastly Fight with a Combat-Trained Mount (Allows the mount to attack as well, DC 10). I’ll allow if you want, the purchase of a special saddle (consider it a masterwork riding kit, which grants +2 on the test) and you could by some magic item that gives bonus to that skill, even tho I don’t really recommend it. A +3 in a DC that requires 5 and you’ll have success about 90% of the time.

You must set then on the statue before you start the ritual, that's when you discover they are more than simply gems. Then it's only a matter of spellcraft to identify what it does (One of the reason I put it there already is because in the end, Agrippa wouldn't rest until he knew what they did.)

However, as stated before, none tried to identify it, because they looked nothing more than magic gemstones that did nothing! (You would need that 3rd level spell to know what they did.)

That makes total sense. I was not sure about how we knew what they did when you posted the information about the three. I'll work up my undead created before the ritual. How many days passed before we began the ritual? An entire week?

And I am good with the two glyphs; could not recall how much material component we had purchased Might want to get more later. Seems like good bang for the buck. Guarding the entryways makes best sense to me too, but I might not put one on the lower level where the frogmen are. They may be likely to set the glyph off accidentally. If the enemy has a cleric, simple damage seems almost moot. A couple of channels would heal up any damage the spell does (its only 3d8, save for half. ). What is everyone's thoughts on spells other than a blast? Can do Bestow Curse, Blindness, or a Summon Monster III )Fiendish Crock.)

And finally, was Sidious able to desecrate the consecration at her knight's shrine?

Point of contention, Agrippa has never once offered partnership or anything remotely like an egalitarian relationship. The best Agrippa did was offer the Devil a chance to be rewarded for good service. Regarding the language, yeah I'm assuming Infernal...Agrippa speaks loads of languages.

I did totally forget about the Infernal Eye though. I didn't know what you meant by that until I looked again at the statblock.
