Abaddon grins at Deathraven "It is not quite over yet brother. Get to the boarding pods once we identify which ship may have the remains you will engage."

All of you will be part of the boarding part including Telemachon, Khayon and a few Rubric Marines. You all will be in one pod the rest in the second. Plan is to meet up at a location Telemachon identified and then Khayon will open the portal to bring the others aboard.

Deathraven nodded and headed for the boarding pod at a jog. It would be good to face his enemies in open combat again. War had been declared. Battle was joined. And soon, victory would be within their grasp.

Strapping himself in across from Draex, he inclined his head.

"Can you smell the blood, brother?"

"Let's give the lackeys of Slaanesh the delicious experience of crushing defeat as we tear their works asunder." Akkad follows to the boarding pod.

I go to do the will of the gods, my quiet passenger.

Menstras joins the others at the boarding pod, lingering just beyond as he prepares his demolition charges. Tech-Use: 1d100 ⇒ 34

He activates his magnetic soles as the last of the group enters the pod . With a chuckle, he hurls the explosives into the pod and seals the hatch before they detonate.

He takes position in the pod.

"Let the purge begin."

Ulasht heads to the pod as quickly as he is able. Long months of dormancy result in even an Astartes warrior needing to works the kinks out of strained muscles.

First the spear, now the sword and dark sorcery will be brought to bear against his hated rivals. Ulasht grins with the excitement. As he heads to the pod he turns and observes his reflection in the polished steel surface of the ship.

This is no longer who I am. As my old rivalry ends in flames so shall a new Astartes warrior rise from the ashes...

Over the vox you hear Abaddons voice as they identified the target. Both pods ready to and they are launched at it's target.

You struck the hull with a thunderclap’s force. Before the shivering had subsided, you were slamming release triggers and moving from your restraint thrones, counting each excruciating heartbeat. Drills and magna-meltas chewed their way through compacted adamantine alloys as, like a clinging tick, you bore your way down into the iron flesh of the Pulchritudinous.

"Ten seconds," spoke the assault pod’s machine-spirit. Its voice emerged into the pod’s dark confines from three vox-gargoyles that looked to be sculpted in a scene of carving themselves open and dining on their own organs.

"Five seconds," came the dull voice again.

The pod’s iris airlock swirled open on complaining hydraulics, revealing an empty corridor beyond.

Finally!

Draex turns and faces Deathraven. His head slowly ticing as it turns like a mechanical puppet turning deathraven's way with a smile splitting his face. Without the acknowledgement of draex turning towards you. You would have thought your words fell on deaf ears. Draex's face radiates with perfect symmetry of insanity and madness almost eerie to stare at.

Draex nods

Deathraven dismounted the pod, his bolter up and sweeping ahead. After getting his bearings, he moves towards the rendezvous.

Draex burst forth from the pod and takes off down the empty corridor full speed crim and blood in his hands looking for his first victim. Guided by the nails, draex sprints for the taste ofhis first victim's blood to shower the air.

Space Marine Dark Apostle 2/18 wounds 3/3 infamy fatigue 1

Akkad holds for a minute, letting the foolhardy World Eater get a reasonable head start, and follows, crozius in hand.

Deathraven watched the World Eater go. If he wanted to get himself killed by not adhering to proper tactical protocols, there was no reason to die with him. He continued sweeping the corridor as he moved carefully towards the rendezvous.

Draex knows better. He knows he should wait, every ounce of reasoning screams to move cautiously. It would be more tactical to scan and survey the area since we are out numbered and out gunned, but the nails said no

Draex moves with the speed of a madman mind fixed on the kill. Breathing has quicken, blood surging. A bestial roar growing in his throat.

it takes every iota of willpower to not release that scream and give way to his companions location. One small battle won against the nails if you ask him but the nails are sore losers.

"aackk-chhch gggrr" draex suffers through clenched teeth

It doesn't take long for Draex to be covered in blood. Human slaves stand no chance against his axes as they tear through flesh and bone. The rest of the team is easily able to follow his trail of carnage and catch up to the fool hearted berserker.

You all realize that vox communication back to the Vengful Spirit has been lost but close range communication still works.

Ahead a creature, part Neverborn, part lab-forged monstrosity, prowled the deck, coming closer in a ragged stoop, its three limbs ill-suited for movement, for each one was a chitinous, jointed blade. It had no eyes, tracking by snuffing the air. Its organs were on the outside of its flesh. It looked in your teams direction and howled something awful.

Khayon, Telemachon and the rubric marines aren't with you guys right now they entered at another location.

Creature Init: 1d10 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19

Ulasht, you did make your PRETERNATURAL AWARENESS roll. Your psynscience is 72 and you get +5 per psy rating (5x5=25 to a max of 90) so you beat it by 1 DoS which gives you +1 init and Unnatural Perception +5 while it's sustained. Don't forget while it's sustained other powers are a bit harder to manifest (-1 psy rating and +10 to psychic phenom table).

Aldegund runs after Draex with the excuse that he needs cover fire but all in all he just wishes to unleash his weapons unto his enemies.

Initiative 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Draex unleashes a dam of pent up fury and Rage. Ripping limbs, cleaving skulls clean off. The murder he brings is unlike anything you care to see. Seeing him in his glory makes you feel pity for those on the recieving end. In hindsight guilt is the usual feeling for unleashing such a fate on an opponent would make kinder hearts weep. Drenched in the blood of these lower life forms draex lets out a roar of savagery so uncanny it wouldnt be offensive him at all to think Draex is the monster you all should kill.

you all know he wohld welcome the challenge

Seeing the never born draex guns his twin axes waiting for the perfect opportunity to fell the creature and claim its skull.

"Come cousins, isnt this glorious"

Space Marine Dark Apostle 2/18 wounds 3/3 infamy fatigue 1

"Impressive work, I did not think that... thing... could be further defiled. We keep moving."

Draex wraps and arm around Akkad's shoulder dragging him closer, closing the gap between them with a devilish grin. Blood oozing onto Akkads prestine garments

"Now cousin didnt you feel the exultation of smashing your crozius into that beast you worship so. Does cracking its innards not bring peace. "

Draex stares into Akkad occular stems and a moment a sincerity passes him over
"I know you cared not for I or my legion, and the feeling is reciprocated, but it is alway good to purge the bad blood by spilling some together. It is the only truth i am willing to hear from you. The desired to kill and render flesh... you feel the pull... the need for war. Let us judged not and have some fun" Draex begins to move in the first direction he detects other than the one he came through

Space Marine Dark Apostle 2/18 wounds 3/3 infamy fatigue 1

Akkad returns the gesture, smashing his plate into the large World Eater's. "Didn't I tell you? To live is to kill. I gunned down mewling sons of Corax on Istvaan V, and burned the Five Hundred Worlds of Ultramar aside your lunatic berserkers. But on Terra, I broke three blades in the plate of Dorn's sons with my blood-brothers dying beside me while those degenerate fools of the Emperor's Children had their fun. Let's spill their blood, and let their death rattles tell us how it feels."

"I do not think this thing is neverborn, but one of their experiments. It matters not. We are doing the gods' work."

Ulasht watches the exchange between Draex and Akkad and shrugs at Deathraven next to who he is standing, "Khorne god of violence, blood, and bizarre lovers it seems. Do you see anything past theit position?"

Ulasht walks force blade in hand ready to deal death of his own.

"Seems clear, which makes no sense. This ship should have the most security if the Warmaster's remains are truly aboard. We should be crawling over Emperor's Children corpses by now. It's not like they don't know where we are. Let us continue forward."

Deathraven sweeps forward, bolter tracking as he moves quickly past the body and down the corridor.

Draex laughs at Ulasht's insult.

"Good cousin, now that you are finished insulting those that are helping you to reclaim your failed primarch's body, which your legion failed to protect, please do not fail to swing your pretty little sword there again, or the only way we will be able to purge bad blood W-itch is if we spill each others"

Draex moves forward ticing away not caring about detection

Deathraven kept a number of metres behind Draex. If the World Eater wanted to set off every ambush on the ship, he was not going to get caught in the blast radius. After all, there were plenty of bomb catchers in the new Legion. They wouldn't miss one. They would miss actual tactical acumen, however.

You Telemachons voice over the vox as they were listening in.
"Be glad we’re boarding it now, when all is in chaos after the evacuation. This a fortress of horrors. If the Primogenitor had prepared for us, we would already be dead."

As you moved on in several corridors you faced fully human crew armed with zeal in their purpose and devotion to their masters, but little that could actually do you harm. They had two ways of playing war’s games: either to charge in herds of sweating, screaming flesh or stand in scattered ranks and open fire with pistols, autoguns and slug rifles.

What met you in those halls was tortured madness in rags, with the fanaticism of fools writ plain across their mutilated faces. They screamed for the notice of their masters, for the blessings of the Youngest God, for the luck necessary to live through the death that walked among them. Many warbands go into battle with herds of such bolter fodder around them. They are useful for any number of tactical tasks, not least forcing the enemy to waste ammunition and weary themselves in destroying the loyal wretches.

You finally meet up with Khayon, Telemachon and their group. Right when you enter the room Khayons axe rips through reality and a neverborn was the first to come through. A weakling thing fell from the tear in reality as if hurled from the portal, its scaled flesh breaking open with the force it struck the deck. Before any of you could react, an immense black boot hammered the creature’s head into sludge.

Abaddon stepped through the conduit. The joint snarls of his Terminator war-plate were the throttle roars of straining tank engines. Veins ran black beneath his sallow skin. His gaze burned with psychic gold. In one hand he carried his battered power sword. In the other had a talon many of you have seen worm by the Warmaster still covered in the blood of a fallen Primarch and a God! The Mechanicum was not wrong when they said weapons had souls and they resonated even more in the eye.

Everyone please make willpower test at -10, Ulasht at -30 as the echoes of Sanguinius sons screams echo through your heads and the power of the Emperors essence pierces your soul.
